The listing appointment

The listing appointment is the initial meeting that formalizes our working arrangement. It’s the starting point to having TeamFisher represent you in the sale of your Saskatoon home. During this appointment, we’ll complete the following items and begin the planning process to move you from being for sale to being sold.

  • Tour the home with you and make recommendations for improvements that could enhance perceived value and marketability.
  • Provide you with appropriate information to assist you in selecting a price for your property that will maximize your potential return.
  • Explain our legal obligations to you as your selected “Seller’s Brokerage.”
  • Complete the documents required to list your property for sale on the Multiple Listing Service of the Saskatoon Region Association of REALTORS (signatures will required from all registered title holders).
  • Review the listing documents with you including our fee for service and the term of the listing agreement
  • Explain our “Easy-exit listing agreement.”
  • Collect a spare key for your property, a surveyor’s certificate if available, and proof of your identity as required by federal law.
  • Work with you to determine a realistic time frame for “rolling out” your listing.
  • Work with you to determine a “showings” protocol, which will be most convenient for your lifestyle.
  • Arrange a time to return to photograph your property and provide you with some preparation instructions to ensure a successful photo shoot.
